Naruto chapter 469 Does Sakura really like Naruto? Analysis
Some sort of voodoo puppet, cursed somebody with a strange eye.
Danzo proving to everybody he’s a douche yet again.
Sakura confessing to Naruto, only to get bitch slapped, which is totally backwards, because usually Naruto receives the punishment.
Well pretty much all of that was amusing IMO.
My theory about Danzo is, in his quest for power, he wants to combine Ao’s byakugan with his sharingan….in other words, he’s being a douche like usual…. 
As far as Sakura confessing to Naruto goes, I really wasn’t convinced that Sakura loves Naruto, I don’t think anybody else was convinced either….except maybe Sai (I wonder what goes on in his head) and Lee, who was like 0_0 and was sweating.
If Sakura truly thinks she loves Naruto, then she must be feeling pretty sad right now, because it doesn’t look like anybody believes her, if that is the case, then I feel sorry for her.
But still, it doesn’t change the fact that she seemed to do a pretty poor job explaining her love, that she may or may not feel.

However, I think it should be noted that theres been some consistent evidence throughout part 2 of this manga, that suggests Sakura has started to develop some feelings for Naruto that could eventually result in love.
Amongst what Sakura has already said this week, she and Naruto has had the same goal in part 2 of the manga (bring Sasuke back) for some time now and since they have the same goal It will only make them closer.
Sakura has also learned things about Naruto, she’s learned about Naruto’s past, reasons why he was lonely during his youth, the Kyubi being inside him and that Akatsuki is targeting him. All of these things will make Sakura feel multiple things for Naruto, Sakura will be sad, scared, worried bla bla bla list goes on. It would be no surprise that these feelings could eventually result in love. Sakura’s already lost Sasuke, so she’d want to be closer to her other team mate (Naruto) now that she’s learned Akatsuki is trying to take him too.

Also when Sakura is having a conversation with Yamato while she is healing Naruto, it appears as though Yamato was perhaps about to tell Sakura that she actually loved Naruto, or at the very least he was definitely saying she had strong feelings for him.
After all the drama, experiences, events, all Sakura said this week, all my analysis and taking everything into consideration, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Sakura really did love Naruto, and maybe she doesn’t know or believe it herself, although it still doest change the fact that she seemed to do a pretty poor job of convincing everybody that it is the case, unfortunately for her.

also about the topic… i truly dont see sakura loving naruto, she tells him to his face that he is her secod choice and that he is only getting the time of day is because she knows she ultimately cant have sasugay… i hate sakura as a character now more than ever, it proves that girls are just plain idiotic at times when their hormones are easily played with by crafty boys, i wonder what sai was going to gain out of this and why does if any do we as the readers want a sakura/ naruto relationship at a time when the story is evolving fast for a the first in a long time… i think kishi lost it there and its annoying to break the main character design and build up for all these years to what??? its a deus ex machina the easy way out… its just wack and i am on the same team as all the boys featured in that panel… its leik yamato and rock lee where like KISHI YOU ASS!!!!!!!

I dunno, I’d say Sakura’s declaration of love was truthful, albeit super awkward. That can’t be an easy thing to do in front of all those witnesses @_@
Going back in the manga for more “proof”, I remember Sakura’s expression when Naruto made his first return to Konoha in part 2, and even Jiraiya was thinking how oblivious Naruto was in regards to her obvious feelings for him. I’m too lazy to cite a link, but it should be easy enough to find for someone who has more inclination to find it than I do *L*
More than anything I think Naruto is in denial because for him it’s like being told the sky is actually green when you’ve thought it was blue all these years. He gave up on Sakura in part one and made it his goal to see her happy with Sasuke, so this is like a mental ninja f^&k (according to Dane Cook’s use of the term) that has put his entire view of things askew.
Or, Kishi could just be setting up a silly love triangle between Naruto, Hinata and Sakura like we all saw coming ages ago >_< Those are my thoughts

I think sakura is crazy in love with Naruto. The evidence has been there since the time shift. But to confess this in public almost more as a tactical move than an admission? I’m with naruto, what she’s doing and saying now is coming across as a lie, despite the fact that its true.
Im liking the post SCHY, its a topic that keeps poping up and being ignored. I reckon Sakura does have feelings for naruto but she has exaggerated them in her own mind in order to save him pain. She does love him but its hard to see if its becuase thers no sasuke or because shes developed it over time.
When she was bad mouthing sasuke and saying that she doesnt need a missing nin, she was clealy lyeing to herself and Naruto picked up on that.
Im happy that kishi has put some focus on relationships recently and not avoided them like usual, however im a bit confused on how naruto hasnt thanked hinata for the whole saving his life thing. awkward!!!!
Everything about her facial expressions says:
I love you, but I’m not in love with you.
She’s trying to do the right thing, but its obviously going against her grain and Sakura X Sasuske lives on in her demented head, regardless of what she says.
Pffffffft. There is no evidence that there is ANY Sakura Sasuke crap in her head. Since time skip it’s been all about Naruto–openly flirting with him at his return, getting all gooey eyed watching him train (which she did a lot). I know I remember Yamato talking about her feelings directly, seems like I remember Kakashi acknowledging her feelings about Naruto as well. So why are they shocked? It’s not her confession, but the way she’s confessing. And that makes me wonder why she’s confessing, and why can’t it wait. If it’s dishonest, it’s because the statement isn’t being motivated from her actual feelings but some other motivation.
While I’m on topic about the romance in Naruto.
I think I’d like to point out Something about Naruto and Hinata.
Well its that from what I can see, Naruto has about as much interest in Hinata’s feelings for him, as he does for Sakura’s feelings for him in the recent chapter. I mean Hinata got blown away, stabbed and said she loved Naruto, however Naruto hasn’t even bothered to talk to Hinata since then, much less even approach her. From what I can tell he isn’t even interested in if she’s feeling alright, which I find rather strange. Maybe Naruto’s scared of those eyes *_*
Anyway, I wish Sakura and Hinata the best of luck. ^_^

t wasn’t love, she was just trying to make Naruto happy, she thought she was causing his suffering so she was going to give up on Sasuke in hopes to help him. But she still loves Sasuke, and Naruto knows that, along with everyone who was there. She felt responsible for his sadness, and was trying to help him as his friend
HA! Sakura is still in love with Sasuke. Even the boy who’s in love with her (Naruto) can see that just from a glance. For goodness sake she cried over the mere mentioning of his name. -_-
@Elfarren and Kumori- I readily admit that I don’t understand the mind of the fairer sex, my long term marriage not withstanding. However, I don’t see Sakura as being free of her blind love for Sasuke. Although she has shown more interest in Naruto since the time skip, that interest really couldn’t be called passion. Certainly nothing compared to the adoration she radiated toward Sasuke.
Your both right that her explanation was bungled at best. For some reason, while I was reading the chapter, I thought of the movie As Good As It Gets. Jack Nicholson’s character, a best selling author, was asked by a female fan, “How do you write women so well?” He answered, “I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability.”
Of course his character had severe OCD, so he had no self-sensorship ability. On the other hand…

Will say in Sakura's defense, though, that she was twelve and had the most ridiculous crush on Sasuke ever, so it's not necessarily a good background to judge her feelings for Naruto against. Not to get all squicky, but for my part I've interpreted her interest in Naruto in part 2 as being like she's finally seeing men with a woman's eyes (if you get my meaning) and Naruto just happens to be her type. There's also a total mother hen-ish type quality to her regard, as if she feels obligated to protect him, which can send confusing signals but still equals love in the end. Maybe it's nothing more than loving him as family, or maybe she's really in love with him … I'm not sure, but I'd like to believe it's the latter ^_^

I suppose us guys are projecting a little. We like the fact that Hinata has eyes for no one but Naruto. She would do anything for him and her umm, stature doesn’t hurt either. All in all, that’s a smooooth combination.
Sakura, on the other hand, always overlooked Naruto in favor of Sasuke. She has no problem verbally and physically abusing Naruto. And now that he has begun to show such great potential, she might be a little interested. What’s not to like?
If Sakura really is “into” Naruto now, (which I don’t believe for a second)then I hope she doesn’t brake an ankle trying to jump on that band wagon she thumbed her nose at so heartily when she was offered a ride -_-
I don’t believe Sakura really loves Naruto, shes just trying 2 keep him from getting hurt, more. Besides if it was real then Kishi wouldnt have set it up like that.

I think it was right of naruto for what he said to sakura, becasue she clearly was lieing to herslef and is not in love with Naruto, if you see her facial expression’s while shes talking you see she is faking a smile a lieing to herslef and everyone.
I think she may have some romantic feelings for naruto but i don’t think she is in love with him, In her own respect she is still in love with Sasuke. Did you see Kakashi’s face? He clearly didn’t believe Sakura AT ALL.

I think she does love him and he loves her, but to be real honest, and yes, I understand what’s happening, I think that the question we’re all asking is still not answered.
i THINK IT’S CUZ OF THE PROMISE, IF NARUTO THINKS THAT SASKE IS RILLI IMPORTANT TO sakura, he’ll get himself killed tryna get him back. but, if naruto thinks sakura is over sasuke then, he wont push himself to hard. Sakura is just trying to protect naruto, she doesnt want him to kill himself like an idiot.
