Shhhhhh... they might be listening...

When I returned to blogging I said I would be trying some new things, and today I intend to implement one of those “things”.  One “thing” I’ve always said is that the people who post comments and the readers in general were just as, if not more talented, than I am.  When it comes to manga, who the hell knows EVERYTHING? And who can write from EVERY perspective and opinion? Nobody.  So why not give everyone the opportunity to write?

This blog isn’t what it used to be as far as traffic or hit counts (that tends to happen after a 5 month absence) BUT it does get about 2-3 thousand reads a day.  So you would be subjecting your opinion to a certain number of reads per day, but at the same time exposing your perspective to the internet, thusly expanding the wealth and ever expanding pool of knowledge when it comes to manga.  So with that said here is what’s going to happen…  If you make a worth while comment on a post, you will be added as an author, once this happens, feel free to blog away.  No one will edit your musings so be sure to check, double, then triple check your work before posting or you will no doubt be made fun of later.

Guide lines for posts:

1) *this rule is no longer applicable* Make them as long as you want…

2) Use at least 1 image in your post and no more than 2.

3) You MUST create at least 1 poll OR ask 1 question at the end of your post, to allow for discussion in the comments section… or both.  No more than 2 polls for each post. (Doesn’t apply to fan fic)

4) No more than 3 posts per week per author.

5) Foul language is ok, just put a warning in BOLD LARGE LETTERS at the top if the content is adult.

6) ANY subject is ok, you don’t have to limit yourself to manga.  The post can be about movies, anime, videogames, fanfic, politics… ANYTHING.  As long as it is about SOMETHING.  I don’t want to hear about your day, make sure it has a subject, has a point.  Even if someone else wrote about the subject already feel free to post.  So if you have a different take on the new chapter of Naruto or Bleach then by all means write your opinion piece, I think thats a good thing.

7)  If you write a post, be sure to be an active commenter on other peoples posts; comments generate ideas, which generates good material.

I reserve to delete any post I want, without warning.  If you break any of the above rules or your post breaks some kind of law or is just in bad taste, or is an advertisement it will get deleted.  I may change the title of your posts, as well as the tags to make it more search engine friendly, so don’t freak out on me if I do.  I’m doing it to increase traffic.

9) Don’t come to me asking how to do something, I’m busy.  Google the question or look up the help section on wordpress… if it is something to do with WordPress, there is a way to find out how to do it through WordPress.

10)  If you commented and I added you as an author but you don’t want to write anything, then don’t write anything.  It’s just there if you want it, you don’t have to use it and it changes nothing on your account.

11) You have to have a WordPress account and logo so that I can add you!

That’s  pretty much it, I don’t know how well this will work but I’m sure if it does it will be copied on a thousand other blogs >_< LMAO! If there is something I didn’t cover, feel free to ask it in this post’s comment section.
